Our Senior Web Developer, Patrick Johnson, is an expert software developer and engineer. Every day Pat uses his 15 years worth of extensive software, application and industry knowledge to build comprehensive, user-friendly, sticky Web sites for ClearEdge clients.

After earning an MBA from Marquette University and a Master of Science in Management Information Systems from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee, Pat worked as a Senior Software Engineer for companies including Interface Software and TICKETSNOW.com. He also held a position as Senior Software Developer for IXL Enterprises, where he was responsible for development and deployment of software for clients including Chamberlain Group, General Electric, VITALRX.com and more. Prior to those roles, Pat served as Systems Engineer for the Robert Bosch Corporation. In 2004, he began putting his expertise to use through his freelance software engineering firm, Webify Enterprises, where he has worked on Web sites for ClearEdge clients including TechServe Alliance (formerly NACCB), Staffing Now and Hollstadt & Associates, to name a few.

Most of the sites Pat has worked on over the years have extensive administrative, backend pages for reports and Web site configurations. A skilled SQL programmer proficient in .NET, C#, VB, Java, PHP, C++, ColdFusion and ASP, he has written scripts for both SQL Server and MySQL, and has developed various Web sites including eCommerce and intricate Intranet applications. Pat specializes in AJAX applications and has been doing some form of AJAX for 10 years. He has Web technology experience in industries from Legal, Finance and Retail, to Medical/Pharmaceuticals, Manufacturing, Multimedia and more.

When he’s not working, Pat enjoys going to the movies and spending time with his wife and children. On Sundays in the Fall, you’ll find him with a cold beer and hot wings cheering on his beloved Green Bay Packers.
