We think of Krzysztof Pabian as a Renaissance Man. An award-winning, classically trained musician, he holds several degrees in music from Northwestern University, as well as an MBA in e-commerce and marketing and promotions from Loyola University. This powerful combination of visual art, music, technology and marketing expertise enables Krzysztof to design high-impact websites and cutting-edge multimedia applications for our clients.
In his role as VP, Interactive Services, Krzysztof works with ClearEdge clients to conceptualize and develop highly functional, visually appealing Web sites that boost ROI by attracting targeted visitors and facilitating online interaction resulting in resume submittals and lead generation. Krzysztof is equally proficient at creating multimedia applications that integrate art forms such as graphics, animation and music to make them come alive. He has worked with companies such as Harvey Nash, TransTech, CARA, OnSite Recruit and Liftopia.
Krzysztof Pabian hails from Europe as a classically-trained bassist, and has performed with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and the Chicago Civic Orchestra, and an array of new music ensembles. While at school, he participated in many festivals around the world and the U.S. such as Spoleto Music Festival Italy and Spoleto Music Festival USA. During his career, he recorded over 20 CDs in various styles. For the last couple of years, he focused primarily on modern jazz and experimental music.
Early in his career he applied his artistic, technological and musical abilities at a job with Front Music Production where he composed music for advertisements and incorporated music in Web sites. This experience led him to the Panta Rei Center where he served as Web Development Manager. In this role, Krzysztof managed client contracts, developed and designed e-commerce websites, and coordinated a team of programmers and designers.
He also served as a consultant for Spherion Corporation’s Information Design Services division as a lead creative designer. At Spherion, Krzysztof conceptualized and developed websites and multimedia pieces, managed teams of designers and developers and directed projects.
For the past eight years, Krzysztof has worked independently, providing companies with Web design and development, multimedia, music and sound and prototype services out of his own studio in Chicago. He still performs and records music on the regular basis and also runs his own recording studio.
