Kathy Dooley, Marketing Director
"Versatile"
As Marketing Director, Kathy Dooley ensures ClearEdge meets client expectations by delivering content and communications that accurately reflect the tone and message they want to convey. She is a gifted writer and editor who crafts prose that clearly articulate each client’s value proposition and services. Kathy loves to see projects through from conception to completion, and particularly enjoys working closely with clients and colleagues to develop top-notch marketing collateral and communication tools. Leveraging her extensive strategic planning and employee development experience, Kathy also helps clients define and document their vision, mission and values, and optimize key operating processes.
Armed with a B.S. degree in Human Resource Management from UMASS Dartmouth, Kathy began her career in recruiting, sales and branch management roles at Office Specialists (now Randstat), an administrative staffing firm. She spent the next seven years in training and development roles at Lahey Clinic Medical Center, where Kathy established and grew a Clinic-wide training organization. Her team launched numerous employee development initiatives including a comprehensive leadership development program. During her tenure at Lahey, she earned a Master’s Degree in Training and Development from Lesley University.
In 1994, Kathy was hired by TAC Worldwide Companies, a $1 billion technical staffing service, to create and direct its training organization. Once it was up and running smoothly, she was promoted to a business operations management role in which Kathy was responsible for all technology, facilities, training and process improvement activities for the company’s largest business unit. Four years later, Kathy joined TAC’s marketing organization and never looked back. As marketing manager, she was responsible for strategic marketing initiatives, internal and external communications, Internet/Intranet site content, and marketing and sales tool development. The targeted marketing programs she developed enhanced brand recognition, positioned TAC as a value-added solutions provider and increased contractor recruitment.
Kathy joined ClearEdge Marketing in 2006 and has been a key contributor to marketing, strategy development, and process improvement projects for more than 40 ClearEdge clients in a wide range of industries.
In her spare time, Kathy is a volunteer for the American Red Cross, The Jimmy Fund, ALS Foundation and Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. She is an avid reader, a basketball player and devoted aunt to her six nieces and nephews
