In addition to being an award winning marketing professional, Jill Ruiz is known at ClearEdge for being efficient. She has agency experience managing everything from sales, clients, creative teams and writers to the billing and invoicing process from beginning to end. For ClearEdge, Jill puts her agency experience to use from streamlining internal processes to enhance efficiency, to managing client engagements.
Before joining the ClearEdge team, Jill spent two years as Senior Account Executive for Symmetri Marketing Group, where she helped develop new brand identities and market positions for business-to-business clients, prepared and implemented communication plans for all clients, managed interactive projects including Web sites, flash animations and e-mail campaigns, produced marketing collateral aligned with the sales cycle and maintained client relationships throughout the organization ensuring projects were delivered on schedule and on budget. At Symmetri, Jill lead accounts that won multiple gold plaques at the BMA Tower Awards in 2008 and 2009 and the Pro-Comm Awards in 2009.
Prior to Symmetri, Jill spent four years with Wells Fargo Bank and Fleishman-Hillard International Communications in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She worked two years at Wells Fargo where she started as Art & Design Group Production Coordinator, then was promoted to Art & Design Group Account Manager. Along with her development of Art & Design’s internal marketing collateral, Jill managed an average of 25 projects per week from estimating through print and final distribution. During her time at Wells Fargo, Jill received three “Service Excellence” and seven “On the Spot” awards for outstanding service. As Assistant Account Executive for Fleishman-Hillard, Jill gained experience in crisis management, event coordination, internal communications and media relations.
Jill earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Advertising from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities School of Journalism and Mass Communication. She lives with her husband in Chicago, where they spend the summers biking and going to the beach. Jill also enjoys photography, shopping, watching movies and playing with her two puppies—a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Buckley and a Border Collie named Cassidy.
