On September 14, 2010, ClearEdge Marketing lost a dear friend and colleague, Kathy Dooley, after a courageous battle with leukemia.
A daughter, sister, aunt, best friend, athlete, teacher, co-worker, dreamer and believer, Kathy was passionate about sports, marketing, communications and education among other things. To honor her memory, ClearEdge Marketing has set up a $1,000 scholarship, awarded each Spring to a graduating student from Bedford High School in Kathy’s beloved Massachusetts.
Kathy was a founding member of the ClearEdge team and leaves a legacy of memories and beautiful client work. Our hope in awarding this scholarship is to give a worthy individual a leg up in their quest to create their own legacy.
The person who wins the Kathryn Dooley Memorial Scholarship will exude nothing short of:
- The utmost ambition to make the lives of everyone around them a better place
- The ambition to write and tell stories through the art of writing
- The ambition to laugh at all costs… taking life seriously, but in a fun, lighthearted and spirited way
- The ambition to speak the truth with a voice that is heard by all… never backing down, never afraid to do what’s right
The winner of this award above all else, is simply put: someone you want to see excel, someone you believe deserves this gift. Someone willing to be ambitious without boundaries.
Stay tuned as we announce the recipient of the 2011 Kathryn Dooley Memorial Scholarship.
